Description
Kamagra 100 mg is an effective drug prescribed for the treatment of Erectile Dysfunction in men. Erectile Dysfunction (ED) or impotence is a condition in which a man is unable to get or keep an erection firm enough for sexual intercourse. This drug contains Sildenafil Citrate as its active ingredient that works by increasing the blood flow to the penis. It comes in the form of an oral tablet that can be taken orally with the help of water. It is intended to be taken roughly 30 minutes to 1 hour before planned sexual activity. The effects of this drug last for around 4 to 5 hours.
How it works
Sildenafil Citrate is the active ingredient in Kamagra 100 mg. It helps to increase the blood flow to the penis by inhibiting the action of PDE-5 enzyme. Sildenafil blocks the action of PDE-5 which degrades cGMP into the bloodstream. cGMP is a cyclic nucleotide that relaxes smooth muscle tissues. Nitric Oxide stimulates the production of cGMP by interacting with the haem group of the enzyme soluble guanylate cyclase (sGC). This interaction allows sGC to convert GTP into cGMP. Thus, the accumulation of cGMP leads to smooth muscle relaxation and increased blood flow to the penis. This results in an erection.
