Description
Vigora 100 mg is an oral drug used to treat Erectile Dysfunction or impotence in men. Erectile Dysfunction (ED) is a condition in which a person cannot get or maintain an erection firm enough for sexual intercourse. It contains Sildenafil Citrate as its active ingredient, which helps increase the flow of blood to the penis and helps achieve an erection. This drug is recommended to be taken 30 to 60 minutes before sexual intercourse, and its effects can last for around 4 hours.
How it works
Sildenafil Citrate is the active ingredient in Vigora 100 mg. It belongs to a class of drugs known as PDE 5 inhibitors. It improves blood circulation in the penis by blocking the action of the enzyme PDE 5.
PDE 5 is responsible for the constriction of arteries, which does not allow the blood to flow easily into the penis. Therefore, it becomes difficult to achieve or maintain an erection. Sildenafil Citrate prevents PDE 5 from destroying Cyclic Guanosine Monophosphate (cGMP) and enables the contraction and dilation of blood vessels. It makes the blood flow easily to the penis and helps the penis achieve and maintain an erection.
