What is Vigora 100 mg?

Vigora 100, aka Red Tablet by Zydus Healthcare Limited, is a prescribed drug for treating erectile dysfunction (ED) or impotence in men. The active ingredient of Vigora 100 tablets is sildenafil citrate. It is a PDE-5 inhibiting drug that helps with erection by enhancing blood flow to the penile muscles.

What is Vigora 100 mg used for?

This Sildenafil citrate-based drug is widely used for treating impotence/ED in men. ED is a medical condition in men where one is not able to either get an erection or maintain it for the entire duration of sex. Vigora 100 helps improve erection by increasing the blood flow to the penis. However, it needs sexual stimulation to start working. With continued sexual stimulation, the desirable effects of Vigora 100 Red Tablet last for approximately 4-6 hours. However, the peak time is between 2-3 hours after taking the tablet. The physiology of an individual also affects the onset and effective time.

What is the recommended dosage of Vigora 100 mg?

The recommended dosage is one Vigora 100 mg tablet a day. It has to be administered 30 to 60 minutes before having sex. The medicine should not be taken more than 4 hours before the sexual act, as it would have lost its effectiveness by then.

You may have it with or without food, but it works best if taken on an empty stomach. A high-fat diet is known to reduce the drug’s potency.

Can I drink alcohol while taking Vigora 100?

Alcohol is known to trigger the side effects and also to make them more intense. It may make one feel dizzy as one’s blood pressure drops suddenly. Avoid consuming alcohol right before or after taking this medicine.
